I have lived in the community for nearly 30 years. I am married to Howard and have two boys, now adults. In the past, I have been involved in the Shul in different areas, on the Ladies Committee and a governor of the Nursery School. I have been volunteering in the Shul Office and am on the Welfare committee. I was given the honour of Woman of the Year in 2011.

I have been on the Board for over 6 years. With responsibility for the Welfare portfolio I have worked with Rebecca Brummer in running our community welfare services. These include offering support on bereavement, divorce, ill health, care issues and financial difficulties. We offer support to new mothers and the bereaved and run tea parties and lunches for the elder members of our community. I am standing for the Board in order to continue this valuable work. If you are interested in volunteering in this area, please get in touch.

I live with my family on the Southside of Borehamwood and we are actively involved within the Yavneh @ BES Community. In the past year, I helped to put together a programme of events for Sukkot and also helped to organise the BES Mitzvah day activities. Professionally I work as a Clinical Trials Manager at the Medical Research Council where my job involves project management across a range of medical trials. I also have experience of working within a committee and have been very involved in our school's PTA for the past 7 years. I believe that I will be able to use these skills to great effect as Programme Manager for the Southside and I welcome this opportunity to make even more of a positive contribution.

I have been a member of BES for over 30 years. As a family we have been involved in the community during this time. When we came to Borehamwood, I was part of the Soviet Jewry committee.

In the past year, I have held the adult education portfolio on the board of management. This role has involved arranging speakers to come to BES and talking to various organisations.

I have eight years of experience in public relations, working across a broad range of sectors, including not-for-profit.

I joined Ketchum, one of the world's largest PR agencies, in 2011 and have lead and advised on communications strategy (media and digital) on pan-European and global accounts.

I recently moved to Borehamwood and am keen to get more involved in the community. I would be delighted to use my experience to help BES engage current and potential members.
