Baby Blessing

Our "Baby Blessing" ceremony is an annual event (taking place each January), where all babies born in the previous 12 months are invited to the Shul with parents, grandparents and siblings to take part in a beautiful, spiritual ceremony led by our Rabbis and musicians. Special sections of prayer, accompanied by music and words from the Rabbis lend themselves to a moving experience for all involved and the babies are even presented with their very own BES teddy-bear after receiving their blessings from the Rabbis!

The ceremony is followed by a lovely Reception in one of the Shul's halls, which affords parents, families, the Rabbis and the Shul's Honorary Officers the opportunity to mingle and chat in a lovely atmosphere.

For more information about dates of the ceremony and what to do next if you wish your baby to take part, please E-Mail the Shul office at or phone on 020 8386 5227.
