An RSS Feed is a way that people interested in a website can keep up to date with changes made to that website. By subscribing to the feed using an appropriate program (Internet Explorer 7 or 8, Mozilla Firefox 2 or 3, or a dedicated RSS reader), you will be notified each time new information is added to various sections of the website. Google also provide a reader at http://www.google.com/reader.
We have four feeds on this website. Click on any of the links below, and follow the instructions in your reader. Unfortunately BES can't provide assistance for every RSS reader!
If you see the RSS icon (the orange and white logo above) in your web browser's address bar or toolbars, you may be able to click on it and see a list of available feeds.
If you use Apple iTunes to "manage" your audio collection, you can subscribe to the above Notes and Recordings podcast feed. iTunes can then be configured to automatically download new podcasts as soon as they are published on the website and, if you want, synchronise them to your iPod for listening to later.
iTunes can then be configured how often to check for updates, whether to download all the recordings or just the most recent etc. As above, though, BES can't provide assistance with iTunes.
